Every virtual tour company's website says roughly the same things: professional, experienced, trusted. That makes the actual decision hard to make on website copy alone, so here's what's worth checking instead, the things that genuinely separate a good provider from a mediocre one.

None of this is exotic. It's mostly about verifiable facts rather than adjectives.

  • Real accreditations you can check: Google Street View Trusted Photographer, Matterport service partner
  • Published prices, not a 'contact us for a quote' page hiding the real numbers
  • Real, named client examples you can actually visit, not stock demo tours
  • Clarity on who owns the finished tour and what happens if you switch providers later

Check the accreditations are real, not just claimed

Google Street View Trusted Photographer and Matterport service partner are both genuine, checkable accreditations, not marketing phrases. Ask how long a provider has held them, and be wary of anyone vague about the specific term or unable to answer directly.

Ask to see real pricing before you ask for a quote

A provider with genuinely fair pricing publishes it. One hiding behind 'contact us for a bespoke quote' on every service is either pricing opportunistically per client or has something to obscure. Real published tiers, based on scene count, let you sanity-check any quote you're given against a public benchmark.

Want this costed for your own space?

Tell us the size of the place and what it is for. You get a written quote, and we aim to reply within 15 minutes in business hours.

Ask for real, named examples, then actually look at them

Anyone can show a polished demo tour built for exactly this purpose. Ask for real client tours you can visit yourself, ideally in your own sector, and check they're actually live and working, not a broken link from three years ago. A provider confident in their work will hand these over without hesitation.

Understand what you'll own

Ask directly what happens to your tour if you ever want to leave: does it keep working, is there a hosting fee that continues regardless, do you own the raw imagery. This matters more than it seems at the point of booking, and a straight answer here says a lot about the provider.

Questions people ask

Is the cheapest quote usually the best choice?

Not necessarily. Check what's actually included, hosting, hotspots, quality control, project management for multiple sites, against the headline number, since a cheap quote missing half of those often costs more once the gaps surface.

What's a reasonable turnaround time to expect?

4 to 10 working days from shoot to live is a fair, achievable standard. Be cautious of anyone promising same-day delivery on anything beyond a single small space.

I used Biztour to get virtual tours done of all our coworking spaces and I am so pleased with how they turned out! They were super communicative, and really flexible to help us hit our deadlines.
