An explainer video takes something your customers do not immediately understand and makes it obvious in under two minutes.
If your sales team keeps repeating the same explanation, that explanation should be a film. Explainers work for a process, a technology, a service model or anything where the value only becomes clear once someone understands how it works.

How it works
Video, start to finish
A production rather than a shoot, so there is a concept stage at the front and an edit stage at the back.

Concept and quote
We work out what the film needs to do before anyone picks up a camera: who it is for, where it will be seen, and how long it should run. Social cuts, a homepage hero and a full brand film are different jobs and are quoted differently.

Book your date
A 50% deposit secures the date, due no later than two weeks before the shoot. Travel is free within London Zones 1 to 4; anywhere else is priced by mileage or transport mode and shown in your quote.

Shoot day
Planned around your business, with the setup and lighting that the concept calls for. If you are also having a virtual tour or photography, we capture it on the same visit so you only pay for the setup once.

The edit
Grading, sound, music and motion graphics as required, then a first cut for your review. Revisions are agreed at the quoting stage so you know exactly what is included.

Delivery
The final film, plus any social cuts specified in the brief, delivered once the final payment is settled. We retain copyright of the finished work, and you receive a lifetime licence to use it however you like: your website, listings, social channels, print and advertising.

Do you write the script?
Yes. Scripting and storyboarding are part of the process, developed with you before anyone films anything. You approve the script before the shoot rather than discovering the angle in the edit.
Live action or animation?
Live action when there is something real to show, animation when the subject is abstract or invisible. Many explainers use both, and we will recommend the mix at the concept stage.
How much does an explainer video cost?
From £1,450 plus VAT for live action. Animated explainers are quoted separately because the cost sits in the build rather than the shoot.
How long does it take from shoot to live?
Between 4 and 10 working days from shoot to live, depending on the size of the job.
What are your payment terms?
A 50% deposit secures your date and is due no later than two weeks before the shoot. 25% is payable once the shoot is complete, and the final 25% on delivery and sign-off, at which point the tour and any photography or video assets are sent to you.
Do you charge for travel?
Travel is included free within London Zones 1 to 4. Anywhere else is priced by mileage or by mode of transport, and it is set out in your quote before you commit.
Are your prices inclusive of VAT?
All prices are plus VAT. Your written quote always shows the VAT separately, so there are no surprises at invoice.
Who owns the finished tour and images?
We retain copyright of the finished work, and you receive a lifetime licence to use it however you like: your website, listings, social channels, print and advertising.
