Virtual tours for diy and tool stores
Depth of stock is the whole proposition.
Trade and serious DIY customers choose a merchant on one thing above all: whether they will have the item in stock today. Nobody wants a wasted trip mid-job.
- Demonstrate depth of stock visually
- Reassure trade customers mid-job
- Show trade counter and yard facilities
- Win local searches for tools and materials
Why it works for this sector
A tour showing the aisles, the racking and the depth of stock answers that better than a product database, because it demonstrates breadth visually and immediately. It says this is a proper merchant, not a shop with a catalogue.
For trade customers particularly, showing the trade counter and the yard signals that you are set up for them rather than for weekend shoppers.
How big a tour do you need?
Most DIY and tool stores need our Large tier at £950 with a yard.
Every tour is priced on scenes, not square footage.
See what each tier includes, or answer five questions and we will size it for you.
DIY and Tool Stores virtual tours - your questions answered
Why does showing stock depth matter?
Because the customer's fear is a wasted trip. Seeing full racking and wide aisles answers that far more convincingly than a stock-checker.
Should we show the trade counter?
Yes. It signals you are set up for trade customers rather than weekend DIY, which matters to your highest-value accounts.
How much does a store tour cost?
From £825, or £950 including a yard. All prices are plus VAT.
How long does it take from shoot to live?
Between 4 and 10 working days from shoot to live, depending on the size of the job.
What are your payment terms?
A 50% deposit secures your date and is due no later than two weeks before the shoot. 25% is payable once the shoot is complete, and the final 25% on delivery and sign-off, at which point the tour and any photography or video assets are sent to you.
Do you charge for travel?
Travel is included free within London Zones 1 to 4. Anywhere else is priced by mileage or by mode of transport, and it is set out in your quote before you commit.
Are your prices inclusive of VAT?
All prices are plus VAT. Your written quote always shows the VAT separately, so there are no surprises at invoice.
Who owns the finished tour and images?
We retain copyright of the finished work, and you receive a lifetime licence to use it however you like: your website, listings, social channels, print and advertising.
How it works
Virtual tours, start to finish
From first enquiry to a tour live on Google, the whole thing takes 4 to 10 working days after the shoot.
- 0115 min response
Tell us about your space
Call, email or send a floor plan and we will count the scenes and tell you which tier you fall into. We respond to every enquiry within 15 minutes during business hours, with a tailored written quote rather than a figure plucked out of the sky.
- 0250% deposit
Book your date
A 50% deposit secures the date, due no later than two weeks before the shoot. Travel is free within London Zones 1 to 4; anywhere else is priced by mileage or transport mode and shown in your quote.
- 032 to 8 hours
Shoot day
Between 2 and 8 hours on site depending on the size of the space, planned around your opening and trading hours. We have shot entire retail estates without costing a single trading hour, so working around you is normal rather than exceptional.
- 0425% on completion
Stitching and post-production
Every panorama is stitched, levelled and colour corrected, then built into a tour that matches the layout of your space. If you have commissioned an enhanced tour, this is where the hotspots, menus and calls to action are added.
- 0525% on delivery
Live and signed off
Between 4 and 10 working days from shoot to live, depending on the size of the job. Google tours then go through Google's own quality control, which usually takes 24 to 48 hours. Once you have signed off, the final payment is due and everything is sent over.
