Can You Embed a Virtual Tour on Your Website? Yes, Here's How
Your tour doesn't have to live only on Google. Here's how it goes on your own site too.

Yes, straightforwardly. Every tour we deliver comes with an embed code alongside the version that publishes to your Google Business Profile, so the same tour can live on your own website's homepage, a service page, or wherever it's most useful, not just where Google puts it.
For clients running more than a handful of locations, we also provide a central place to pull the direct link, embed code and image links for any location at the click of a button.
- Every tour comes with a standard embed code, no extra software or account needed
- Works alongside, not instead of, the version published to your Google Business Profile
- Multi-location clients get a central tool to pull links and embed codes per site
- An enhanced tour's hotspots and CTAs carry over into the embedded version too
How the embed actually works
The tour is hosted on Google's infrastructure (for a Google tour) or a dedicated hosting platform (for Matterport and enhanced tours), and the embed code is a short piece of code that displays that hosted tour inside a page on your own website, the same principle as embedding a YouTube video. There's nothing to install, no separate account to manage.
Once it's on your site, it behaves exactly as it does on Google: full walk-through navigation, and, for an enhanced tour, the same hotspots and calls to action a visitor would see on your Business Profile.
Where it's worth putting on your own site
The most common placement is a dedicated 'virtual tour' or 'explore our space' page, linked clearly from your main navigation. For businesses where the space itself is the sell, a venue, a showroom, a gym, embedding it directly on the homepage or the relevant service page puts it in front of visitors at the exact moment they're deciding.
Managing embeds across multiple locations
If you run more than one site, chasing individual embed codes by email gets unwieldy fast. Clients on our national and international campaigns service get a central tool to pull the direct link, embed code and image assets for any of their locations instantly, rather than fifty separate threads of assets to track down.
Questions people ask
Does embedding the tour on our site cost extra?
No, the embed code is included with every tour we deliver, alongside the version published to your Google Business Profile.
Will the embedded tour still work if we change website providers?
Yes, the embed code is a standard snippet that works on any modern website platform, so it moves with you if you ever change providers.
Can we embed the same tour on more than one page?
Yes, the same embed code can be placed on as many pages as you like, there's no limit tied to the tour itself.
