The honest answer is a range, not a number: 2 to 8 hours, depending on the size of the space. A single small shop is closer to the bottom of that range; a hotel, campus or multi-floor building is closer to the top. We confirm the specific figure when we quote, once we know roughly how many scenes your space needs.
What matters more to most business owners isn't the exact hour count, it's that the shoot is planned around them, not the other way round.

What actually determines the length of a shoot
The single biggest factor is scene count, and scene count comes from the size and shape of your space. A one-room cafe might need 6 to 8 scenes and wrap in a couple of hours. A hotel with a lobby, several room types, a restaurant, a spa and function rooms might need 30 or more, spread across a full day.
The second factor is access: whether the photographer can move through the space freely, or has to work around deliveries, service hours or areas that need to be tidied between scenes. Telling us about these in advance keeps the shoot on schedule.
Planned around your business, not the other way round
We ask about your opening hours and trading times before we ever book a date, and build the shoot plan around them. That might mean shooting before doors open, working a quiet mid-afternoon slot, or moving zone to zone as areas free up through the day, whatever disrupts your actual business the least.

What happens after the camera stops
The shoot itself is only the capture. Stitching, quality control and publishing happen afterwards, off site, which is why the tour doesn't go live the same day: expect 4 to 10 working days from shoot to live, depending on the size of the job.
Questions people ask
Do we need to close during the shoot?
No. Shoots are planned to work around trading, not require closure. We'll ask about your quietest periods and work with them, but staying open is the default assumption, not the exception.
What if our space is bigger than expected once you arrive?
We confirm scene count and timing at the quote stage from a floor plan or a call, specifically to avoid that. If something genuinely changes on the day, we'll tell you before it affects the schedule, not after.
Can multiple areas be shot on different days?
Yes, particularly for larger sites. We'll agree the split at the planning stage so the finished tour still reads as one coherent walk-through once everything's stitched together.
