53 stores, one campaign, and a second one two years later - the real numbers behind a national rollout.

Richer Sounds is one of the UK's best known hi-fi and home cinema retailers, with 53 stores nationwide. They commissioned us for a single nationwide campaign: a Google virtual tour and full commercial photography set for every one of those 53 locations, managed as one project with their marketing team rather than 53 separate bookings.
The brief was as much a logistics problem as a photography one. Fifty-three stores means fifty-three sets of stock deliveries, opening hours and staff rotas, and one requirement that mattered more than any other: no disruption to trading.
The logistics behind a 53-store rollout
Every store got its own plan of action before a photographer arrived, worked out around that specific store's delivery times and opening hours. In-store teams knew what to expect and when, and our photographers made sure each store was looking its best before a single frame was shot. The result, in the client's own words: zero trading hours disrupted, across all 53 stores.
Richer Sounds also needed a way to actually manage the output once it existed. We built them a quick-reference tool to pull up the direct URL, embed code and image links for any of the 53 locations at the click of a button, rather than fifty-three separate email threads of assets.
What their marketing team said afterwards
Biztour were great to work with throughout the entire process, from working around our delivery and opening times, to setting up a plan of action so that each in-store team was fully prepared for their photoshoot, said Adam C., Deputy Marketing Manager at Richer Sounds. Communication was great throughout, with Theo, the director of the company, personally keeping us updated on the status of each store's shoot.
The second campaign: keeping 53 tours current
Nearly two years after the initial rollout, Richer Sounds commissioned a second campaign: reshooting the stores that had since been refurbished, so every one of their 53 Google virtual tours stays an accurate representation of the store a customer will actually walk into. We would highly recommend Biztour to any business wanting to use the latest marketing technology to showcase their business effectively, Adam added.
That renewal pattern is common with multi-location clients: a tour is only useful while it's accurate, and a refurbished store with an outdated tour undermines the trust the format is meant to build in the first place.
Questions people ask
How do you shoot 53 stores without disrupting trading?
By planning around each store individually rather than applying one schedule to all of them: working with delivery times, opening hours and staff rotas store by store, with a dedicated point of contact managing the whole rollout.
Do you offer the same asset-management tool to other multi-location clients?
Yes. Any campaign of this scale gets a central way to access every location's assets, links and embed codes, so managing 5 or 400+ locations doesn't mean managing 5 or 400 separate deliveries.
