The brief
The Roundhouse is one of the most iconic music venues in London, if not the UK. The challenge: there is an enormous amount going on in a very large space across three floors.
With a standalone Google virtual tour, navigating a building of that size and layout could have been frustrating - more than likely resulting in a drop-off of users.
What we did
We used Tourdash to enhance the Google virtual tour, guiding users around the key areas of the building - the Main Space, Studio Theatre, Dorfman Hub and Bars and Kitchen - with venue-hire calls to action built into the experience.
In its first 6 years, the tour averaged around 1 minute 13 seconds of usage per session - ideal for a call to action to be triggered - with thousands of unique and repeat users bringing a huge ROI. It has now been live for over 11 years.
What we delivered for Roundhouse
How it works
Virtual tours, start to finish
From first enquiry to a tour live on Google, the whole thing takes 4 to 10 working days after the shoot.
- 1
Tell us about your space
15 min responseCall, email or send a floor plan and we will count the scenes and tell you which tier you fall into. We aim to respond to every enquiry within 15 minutes during business hours, with a tailored written quote rather than a figure plucked out of the sky.
- 2
Book your date
50% depositA 50% deposit secures the date, due no later than two weeks before the shoot. Travel is free within London Zones 1 to 4; anywhere else is priced by mileage or transport mode and shown in your quote.
- 3
Shoot day
2 to 8 hoursBetween 2 and 8 hours on site depending on the size of the space, planned around your opening and trading hours. We have shot entire retail estates without costing a single trading hour, so working around you is normal rather than exceptional.
- 4
Stitching and post-production
25% on completionEvery panorama is stitched, levelled and colour corrected, then built into a tour that matches the layout of your space. If you have commissioned an enhanced tour, this is where the hotspots, menus and calls to action are added.

Live and signed off
25% on deliveryBetween 4 and 10 working days from shoot to live, depending on the size of the job. Google tours then go through Google's own quality control, which usually takes 24 to 48 hours. Once you have signed off, the final payment is due and everything is sent over.
